Live Stock Market Updates – Nifty near previous close at 9233, Sensex flat to negative at 29881, Bharti Infratel surges over 3%

After a gap-up opening Nifty and Sensex retreated to trade near their previous closing prices. Broader markets outperform the benchmark where Midcap and Smallcap surge 0.36% and 0.71% respectively.

 Financial Services, PSU Banks and FMCG sectors are trading marginally down with more than 0.3% losses each refraining the markets from gaining ground. HDFC leads the fall with 1.8% loss. On the contrary Realty and Metal shine with 2.2% and 1% gains respectively. In Realty Unitech and Prestige zoom with 5% plus gains.
