President Trump Nominates Jerome Powell As the Chair Of US Fed

In an announcement made through the White house on Thursday, Jerome Powell was once appointed as a successor to Yellen for the chairmanship of US Federal Reserve.

On Thursday, President Trump nominated Federal Reserve Board Governor Jerome Powell as the next chair of US Federal Reserve. Powell will likely be succeeding Janet Yellen, who will likely be ending his 4-year term as the chairman of Federal Reserve on Feb 3.

Some of the others in the race to prevail Yellen included former FederalReserve Board governor Kevin Warsh and Stanford college professor John Taylor. Former Goldman Sachs President Gary Cohn, who's now the director of the national economic Council, was an in depth name until few months again.
