M-cap hikes for top 7 companies, investors gain Rs 45,956 cr


The top seven Indian companies saw an increase in total value of Rs 45,956 crore in their value last week, while SBI and RIL received the maximum benefit.

As the exception of ITC, ONGC and Infosys in the top seven companies, other companies have realized the progress in their market capitalization (M-Cap) last week.

SBI's valuation went up by Rs 13,196.15 crore to Rs 2,33,304.74 crore. Beyond SBI, RIL has risen Rs 11,667.61 crore to Rs 4,28,908.46 crore. While IOC jumped Rs 6,823.12 crore to Rs 1,87,802.12 crore.


HDFC's valuation increased by Rs 6,408.77 crore to Rs 2,38,625.58 crore. While HDFC Bank surpassed Rs 4,823.42 crore to Rs 3,69,595.97 crore.

HUL's market valuation stood at Rs 1,96, 9 01.71 crore, which increased by Rs 2,179.3 crore. While TCS's valuation increased by Rs 857.14 crore to Rs 4,79,030.74 crore.

However, the market valuation of ONGC decreased from Rs 8,91.1 crore to Rs 2,37,479.02 crore. While Infosys suffered a loss of Rs 2,526.64 crore, it was Rs 2,34,472.11 crore. And ITC lost Rs 521.69 crore and closed at Rs 3,40,673.36 crore.

In addition, TCS led the rise of MCAP with RCL, HDFC Bank, ITC, HDFC, ONGC, Infosys, SBI, Hindustan Union and IOC.

The Sensex gained 199.10 points last week, while the Nifty has gained 65.75 points.
